Helen Goodman MP - trialling £21 per week for food

Just read on the bbc website, that Helen Goodman, Labour MP for Bishop Auckland is going to attempt to feed herself on the £21 per week currently provided in benefits for pregnant women.
With so much in the news at the moment about pregancy and the importance of being in tip-top health, eating the right food etc, it should be interesting to find out how she manages. I can’t believe that 5 fruit and veg a day is particularly feasible on that little money.
Good on her for trying it out
